Using the material I have produced during experimentations I started to design the front cover of the booklet. It was important I included the company logo so people automatically recognise the brand. I took inspiration from post-modern design with the textured footprint and also the collage of images. The images I have used are my taxonomy of 30 photos. I played around with using text ‘Be unique’ this small phrase I think help sums up the purpose of the booklet as its showing the variety of style Dc.Martens are apart of. My favourite designs are the simplistic approach ones, as I feel the booklet itself has such a strong meaningful message you don’t need a overpowering front cover to catch the audiences attention. Also because Dr.Martens is such a worldwide recognised brand it will automatically attract an audience.
