Thinking and practise, Cutting out.

The focus of this session was to teach us how to cut out using the pen tool on photoshop. The pen tool i the easiest way of creating any shape from straight to curved using the anchors.

By holding and dragging anchor points it enables us to create a curve. You can reposition the handle to help create the next path. If we remove the handle it will allow us to create a line from the side, is we move it, it will allow us to create another curve shape.

Creating a mask will make the background disappear so that we can click between working on the layer and the mask and can edit the image. Making the background will reveal the background and making it black will hide it again. When cut out fully we can blend the corners and edges into the background to give the image a professional finish.
