The designer who drew the Dr Martens logo, Ross Evans, was an independent contractor hired by the advertising agency for a standard rate fee of £15 an hour. What I find interesting about the logo is like the design of the boot the design of the logo has stayed the same over the years. The boots are a timeless design. I started to study the logo as was thinking of including it in animation or booklet I’ve talked about creating.
